Usually go out for a drive with @nixiej every month or so, today I met him in Bedale, North Yorks and abandoned my car and off we went in his Clio 200 Silverstone that his girlfriend drives everyday. Went up to Hawes and Ribblehead and were out there for about an hour before we spotted a Helicopter and a new Porsche 911 Carrera GTS being driven like a hero! Soon realised it was Top Gear after knowing they'd been here the previous few days. Decided to chase them a little bit which the drivers seemed to applaud, it was brilliant fun. A guy called Iain May, Clarkson and co were long gone sadly. They were shooting all the drive-by stuff for the show and taking the pictures for the magazine.
Aye, you'll have to send me info of where these roads are , done the triangle and some roads up to snowdonia, they were good and will do them again later in their year

Nice pics. I can atest to the roads around Ribblehead and Hawes are indeed cracking. Speeds can get a bit scary up there - last time I was up I had an oncoming cyclist giving me the 'slow down' :rolleyes:
I was up ribble head last week. I see the snow has gone now. I often ride arround devils bridge/ kirkby stephen, ribblehead & hawes etc awesome on the gsxr!
