Clio 197 brakes vs megane 275 brakes

Hi all, has anyone went from a clio 197 to a megane 275 and thought the brakes aren't as good ? I know the megane is heavier and that prob will make a bit of difference but It just feels the brakes on the clio are alot sharper and biting point is quite a bit better . I have standard brembo pads in both cars. Not sure what discs are on the megane but I have brembo high carbon discs on the clio. Would prob be a idea to change the brake fluid on the megane is I have only had the car 3 months so not sure last time it was changed . I know the pins are all free on the megane because I changed the pads 7 weeks ago and fitted new pins.
