Britemax Grime out - R26 ALLOYS

Discussion in 'Detailing' started by papps, Mar 23, 2015.

  1. Alright guys, had a delivery of some new supplies today to get me more into my upkeep and keeing the meg looking spot on.

I purchased Britemax Grime Out maybe a little itchy on the shopping trigger finger without looking into it properly, and notice that it can't be used on bare aluminium alloys......one of my alloys has a slight scuff on it (just taken away some grey coating, doesn't look like any bare metal exposed - would this still be safe to use on my wheels?

And for all you detailers, I bought VP Ciritus, Gyeon wetcoat wax, megs tyre dresser, a couple of small VP brushes for grill etc, and a very fluffy new large drying towel - hopefully get a chance this week to try some of the stuff out.

  2. It will be fine mate as you'll be washing it off. Should of got Ironmax for the wheels anyway

  3. Lol thanks Rob - yeah I know - I had so many ruddy detailing threads open and was searching for what people used, realised quickly after I had the order placed it wasn't what Liquidf1 used on the alloys lol, live and learn
