Team I went on a trackday today and within the first 15 minutes i had issues I run Brembo HC discs, Std Brembo calipers with CL RC6 pads and new ATE Type 200 fluid and fully refurbed calipers...with new powder coating The caliper paint started to bubble and smoke and the fluid boiled!!!! It was at Abingdon Airfield so not a mega fast circuit Any suggestions??? Anyone had similar?
Hi I have done Abingdon, exactly the same set up and have never had a problem with the fluid boiling, just as a matter of fact, did you do a run down lap, the only thing i get is after a break the first brake application the peddle goes half way down but then it's in the normal place for the rest of the session.
Yeah run down laps were done as well as a couple of lengths of the long service road. This helped cool them after a session but didnt stop them boiling during the laps
