  3. Big spec mk3 rs 250 factory cup for sale

    I've decided to put this up for sale as I have a dedicated r26 for track use and have purchased an m3 for ring trips and weekend use

    I hadn't planned to sell as I've invested over 30k into this car ! But I am running out of space

    Anyway to the car. Its a 2011 factory cup. Hpi clear in great condition with a full service history and 54k on the chassis and around 4k on the engine

    Exterior
    Team dynamics 1.3 wheels. As new and wrapped in near new Goodyear supersport tyres
    Cup wheels in good condition with decent tyres but not much life left
    Maxton front splitter
    Maxton spoiler lip
    Maxton rear defuser
    Black door handles
    Blacked front lights

    Interior
    Great condition recaro cs no bolster wear
    Sw half cage in white
    Rear seat delete carpet
    Retrimmed wheel by royal with black inserts
    Boost, oil pressure and oil temp gauges change from white to red when lights are on. And peak settings with alarm options
    Rs monitor
    Coolerworx shifter

    Engine/ turbo
    Fully forged build by Select motorsport
    Wossner pistons
    Pec rods
    Super tech valves
    Cat cam springs
    Arp main, big end, head bolts

    New bearings throughout and 3rd gear synchro as a preventative measure

    New rts hybrid Clutch kit with new metal pipe slave cylinder
    Clutch damper delete pipe

    Cooling
    Big pro alloy intercooler
    Pro alloy turbo cooler ( a must with this spec power )
    13 row front mounted oil cooler on a 82 degrees sandwich plate
    See no more than 110 degrees on a hot track day
    Big k and n filter with ducted air supply from a Modified headlight which i swap out for track days


    Fueling
    630 injectors
    Modified dw65 in tank pump

    Brakes,
    New cup discs front with new pagid rs29 pads
    Braided lines
    Rear ds2500
    System just flushed with new srf fluid

    Complete front end refresh before it went into storage
    New swivel ball joints fitted
    New front wheel bearings both
    New oem lower arms both
    Both driveshafts replaced with new items
    New Anti rotation links
    New track rod ends

    Suspension/handling
    Bc coilovers 10k and 8k spring rates
    Turrets opened up for more camber
    Fully set up for fast road/ track use
    Rear camber shims -1 degrees added

    New Varley red top battery moved to behind the passenger seat. In a carbon effect box bolted to the floor

    Power
    Car was mapped to 416 hp by efi and is so responsive but I found it to aggressive on track and would spin the wheels with slicks on in 3rd getting out of corners

    Its been mapped again by Paul at rs tuning using 275 software and making 401hp with 370 torque with switchable map to 330hp. The car is very linear now and not on off so is much more drivable in the wet

    Car has vibtechnics solid gearbox mount and black polybush inserts to engine and gearbox mounts. Engine dog bone left standard to minimise vibration

    I've been over the top with this car doing many things it never actually needed but it was built as a European trip and ring tool so reliability was important

    Its got really good road manners and will cruise quietly when required
    AC works and is ice cold

    I've done around 10 track days in it and one ring trip and its never missed a beat apart from blowing the top boost pipe off which has been sorted

    All parts apart from the roll cage were purchased by me new

    Its currently sorn and in storage and had new millers 10w60 oil and filter
    And new motal gear oil before it went away for winter

    As said I had no intention to sell it but one has to go ! I will no doubt regret it but if it doesn't get the Money I want for it I will just leave it parked up in the garage

    Couple of points. It needs a new windscreen and I will get this done under the insurance before it goes

    The front splitter is a bit tatty so a new in the box Maxton replacement will come with the car

    The car can come with the private plate RS10 LAP and both sets of wheels for 17.5k firm

    Or 16.5k firm with the cup wheels and back on its original plate

    It will be back out of storage in a few weeks and the screen will be done. It will be going to Spa for 2 days in March unless a deposit has been received. Will be available after unless I crash it
