Who else is going for the afternoon? I've just booked up with my mate in his Clio trophy, I've paid for tuition as I'll be needing it lol.
You will love it mate if you can, get some decent fluid in so your brakes last. If you can stretch to pads ds2500 are great all rounders you can leave in for road use too
Got the pads, first thing I invested in after I did Silverstone last year. Gotta put some new fluid in. Maybe new tyres and cooksport springs. We will see.

Anyone else coming to this on Friday evening? My brother and I will be there, be good to meet some more folk off the forum.
Come and say hello to me. I'll be the really slow one making all the mistakes and probably unintentionally annoying everyone :-( first proper track session!
Haha well do Chris, mate I'll be the same it's been over two years so will be just as slow. Looking forward to it though, plenty of fun off for some grass cutting action lol
I'm also coming along for my first track day so am anticipating being passed lots. Must admit i am a bit nervous and got tuition booked but overall mega excited. Look forward to meeting you guys
Supposed to be thundering tomorrow :-( Any tips on what to take with me guys other than myself and helmet etc.
Great fun had today, bit of tuition from the experts and good to blow of the cob webs. Steve it was a pleasure as always and good to meet you Chris. Hope you all got home safe. Just wish I hadn't spent about 45 mins pissing about with my wheel nuts at the start grrrrr.
Just got home, got myself a cold pint and a lovely curry. Was great to meet you guys and I had loads of fun. I was most likely the slowest out there before my tuition but had a blast regardless. Oh and the new 275 is properly quick ;-)
I had a fantastic time at my first track event and it was good to meet folk from the Renaultsport fraternity. I was all over the shop on first session but instruction and track time made a noticeable difference. Unfortunately my clutch let go on the last lap of last session so I had to get a tow from one of the cliosport lads to circuit entrance where I got licked up by a recovery truck at 10.30 eventually getting home at 1.30am after a McD's refuel. Car is currently in recovery store at Northampton being recovered to Mark Black on Monday for an assessment of damage...fingers crossed
It was a good day really enjoyed it. I was the one with the track 182 with orange mirrors, hope it is not too expensive to fix it made a hell of a bang.
I have done a few years ago that's what got me into trackdays, but I was worried if anything happens to it so I brought the clio and also used it as a project turning it into a track car.
