Baffling the fuel tank and fitting a swirl pot for the fuel?

Merry Xmas pal, few pics about I'll add a couple for you in a sec. One is from RS tuning....

 

I find it easier not to run mine below half a tank, never let mine to get to a quarter anymore

 

Not to sure, but possibly. I'm sure it could be done the way you want it though

 

the above setup uses a modified fuel rail too.

 

This one is needed for 350+HP on the 225/R26 so a return can be added.

It can be done pretty cheap but to do it like the above setup with Teflon lines and AN fittings it's about £800 with the regulator, rail and pump etc.

According to a post on facebook it can be done much cheaper but I find that hard to believe if you use the same quality fittings and regulator.

 

Is it needed for a standard car or a stage 1 car Paul

 

I've seen a setup used on Peugeot 306s which hangs the swirl pot under the boot floor (floor is flat in the 306 with no wheel well), I'll try to find you a picture - I'm sure RS Tuning could do something similar.

 

That's the 'upside down' swirl pot - don't know if there is space to do similar on the Megane?

Regarding the tank baffles, I don't think you would need to with the swirl pot and improved pump? Difficult without changing the fuel tank I would expect too.
