I have for sale my 5-door Arctic Blue Meg 225. As I'm now doing 10k a year, I thought I'd go buy something more 'luxurious' to drive around in (BMW 335i M Sport) so I no longer need the Meg. It is a 2005 '55' reg & has 103k on the clock so average miles for age. It has the standard Megane RS specification - auto lights/wipers, 6 disc CD changer, half leather, keyless entry & start but also has the optional Cup pack so has the anthracite multispoke 18" alloys & the traction control stays off over 30mph. Has just been MOT'd today so next MOT isn't due until January 2016 and next service is not due until July 2015. Since my ownership I've replaced front passenger side ABS sensor, exhaust mount, top engine mount, an injector and fitted AUX cable. Bad points No service history - I have receipts for cambelts but no service book so unfortunately do not have any service history, I completed the last service in July 2014 so have receipts for oil etc and only use premium oil so was serviced with Gulf Competition. Swivel hub bearings need replacing, I'm not sure if only one needs doing but for the sake of just paying labour I'd get them both done. The bearings are available from Mark Black for £50 posted and I got quoted 3 hours labour @ £40ph from a local indy Renault specialist, so £170 all in. The usual Renault rattles, squeaks & just general bad build quality.... Taking into account the lack of service history and the swivel hub bearings needing doing, I'll take £2,700 OVNO.
