Fitted a set of ktec trackday spec’d Gaz Gold coilovers this weekend. I have adjusted suspension so that i get roughly following ride height measured ground to arch vertically through wheel centre on std wheels and tyres. Front 650-655mm Rear 660-665mm Which are similar to my h&r spring setup i had on it. This looks to be what other folks aim for and is not massively low. I guess they may settle a bit, but have ran car round block to settle car. However to obtain this i have had to run front coils on lowest setting and rears towards highest setting which suggest to me the spring lengths aren’t ideal and i have little adjustment now to corner weight it. Anyone else had issues? This are on Gaz front camber adjust top mounts that came with kit. Slightly annoyed as washers for top mount to turrets were too small, also no rear lower strut mounting bolts included, which as renault ones come integrated into shock meant i had to find my supply of new old stock VW nuts and bolts and find parts that fit. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
I run roughly the same ride height on GAZ Gold on a 225 Trophy. I have enough thread left front and rear. Are you 100% sure you got the right set? If needed I can measure some stuff, just tell me what you need.
