Hi, I'm after a passenger door lock mechanism if anyone has one available? My passenger door just bounces off the latch when you try to shut it. Will need it posting, or near to Stoke on Trent so I can collect. Thanks
Have you tried to close the latch itself by hand with a small screwdriver to see if that work. my boot latch does this sometimes and if i leave the boot open, closes the latch with a small metal bar as if i was closing the boot then it works again fine.
I have mate yeah. If you push the catch round with a screwdriver, it'll hold in place, but you can flick it back again quite easily. Only way I can get the passenger door to shut is by pulling the interior handle a few times, then I have to hold the exterior handle out and close the door whilst releasing the handle at just the right moment. It'll then latch and stay shut
