Hi all Looking for some help I want/need to replace the lower suspension arms on my 2006 225 I can only seem to find genuine Renault ones, http://renaultpartsdirect.co.uk/products/Renault-Megane-225-Lower-Arm-(NSF).html As the standard ones apparently dont fit? Dont really wanna pay £135 plus vat for each side. Surely some one makes a copy? Help please!
You could just replace the front and rear bushes on the arms instead? It might not be that cheaper in the end as most of them available bushes on the market are uprated poly ones - but I'm sure I've seen standard type replacement bushes available mate.
According to www.Mister-Auto.co.uk TRW make them, ive ordered the track rod ends from here, but am not sure about the control arms as most companies ive spoken to say they are only available from Renault http://www.mister-auto.co.uk/en/sus...m0-1-2-0-renault-sport-224hp_v18081_g273.html
Yeah they're a Renault only part. All the aftermarket arms I've seen come with the wrong ball joint fitted for a start
