Hello everyone. I have for sale my 2010 Renault Megane RS CUP 250. This is an exceptionally good car, with the CUP chassis and LSD. If you have never owned a Megane before, please do some reading on this forum. These are capable road and track cars and have an uncanny ability of making much more exotica look inadequate. I bought the car May 2010 from a chap who works with Cooksport off eBay. It has been incredible since I have owned it. I bought the car completely standard and as is the norm with these cars, you end up spending a few pounds on upgrades/modifications. I commute 50 miles a day in the car as it is. I have a white 1.5dci as well as a Maserati Granturismo, so I don't use this car every day, but it is 90% of my main drive. The fun factor trumps economy or lack thereof every time . Interestingly, I sold my "family car" a, 380hp 335D xdrive in May as it was too underwhelming to drive, albeit, my son was born the same week, so I'm surprised I've lasted this long having 3, 3 door cars. Those of you who have children will appreciate the benefit of 4 doors. I now need to go back to 4 doors and you guessed it, probably a 335d xdrive. Anyway, enough chit chat. The Car CLICK THIS LINK (copy paste if needs be) FOR VIDEOS OF UNDERNEATH THE CAR, RECENT GEARBOX AND ENGINE OIL CHANGE, NEW PARTS. https://photos.app.goo.gl/tfa5g6ArfJYYNm7eA Service items since 77,000 miles listed below along with upgrades/modifications. They have very little movement and makes a huge difference in the performance of the car. The mounts do cause additional vibration only noticeable at around 1000rpm as you pull away. The original mounts are included if you aren't hardcore enough for this. There is a video on the link of Mike saying I would regret fitting these. I've left it there for comedy, but these are not normally fitted to a road car. I commute in it without any issue, my wife and son come in the car and haven't complained (well Rich is only 6 months) but gives you an idea. Stage X Motorsport work RS Monitor Re map on the sport button. Standard normal driving, remap for excitment- estimated 300hp. Its fast you can RR it if you want for a pub figure. There's a lot of info on this site about this car. I have access to an automotive garage so I've been under the car a number of times. Please check the videos and photos. Any questions, call, message, WhatsApp. Car is based in Evesham. Can be viewed at home or at my work in Gloucester. For £9500 you have a superb road car, excellent track car and a decent springboard to go which ever way you want. Standard torque and gear box mounts with the car for fitting if you don't like the evol mounts. .
nope. I've still got the GT and the other Megane. I sold something with two wheels. I'm buying a 4th car.
I think the megane not only is fantastic as you know but I think in that colour it's an investment. Congratulations.
Most people claim they didnt want to sell. I didnt. I did however want to give Mrs Spoon at least some thinking time about what I would be like without my motoring hobbies
The market is moving massively quickly at the moment. Does make me think we’re actually under selling them.
yes very much so. I didn't need to sell this, but unfortunately its the people who are forced to that lower the price. I sold it for a fiver short of £10k. Bought for £8.4, spent £2k. £400 to own the car for 6 months plus consumables is good enough for me
