Hi All I'm having to sell my 225 Lux as I'm never using it and it needs some dosh spent on it. I'm going to put it on Ebay/Autuotrader/Pistonheads but thought I'd see if any of you guys might be interested first. I also haven't really got an idea of what its worth as we think the head gasket's on the way out, it needs a service, and some bits are tatty. Autotrader put it at £2740 as it has full service history, full lux spec, cambelt was done July 2017 at 75, 843 (its 95,515 now). But as its due a service now, and with that possible head gasket, the wheels need refurbing, it needs new windscreen, the handbreak interior leave needs replacing, the drivers seat is tatty this could all mean its best as a project car I reckon. Below are some photos, and the basic text. As I said, I'm never using it so can't be arsed to spend what it needs to get back to tip top condition. Anyone got any suggestions as to what I should advertise it for? Or are any of you interested? Thanks for you help! MOT until 24 Feb 2019. Service due now and car needs new windscreen and hand-break interior lever. Possible problem with head gasket, but good runner – must go quickly!
needs a lot of love in my humble opinion, and the air con LCD is from a phase 1 car...weird... i think you'll be lucky to get a grand...
