Hi all, After owning the car for almost 4 years the time has come to sell my R26 and maybe move onto something different, still can't decide what would replace the Megane just yet though. The car has been very well looked after in my ownership, I have a tendency to just replace things preempting their failure or need for replacement, you will see this in the stacks of receipts I have for the car. The car has covered 58000 miles, cambelt and auxiliary belt was done in 2014 by Fred at BTM (before his move to Australia. The clutch kit was also replaced in 2015 by mark black, I had a R26R clutch and alloy flywheel fitted along with vibratechnics wishbone bushes at the same time. Mark also fitted new hub bearings when he did fitted my decat in 2014. The car had a full suspension refresh in 2015 as well which also included cooksport springs and new shocks. It has Michelin pilot super sport tyres fitted with 4-5mm tread on front and 5-6mm tread on reads, the tracking is done yearly too. A run down of the spec: RS tuning remap 270bhp 284lb ft RS tuning 3 inch downpipe / decat ITG home made induction kit Forge induction hoses Forge recirculation valve (this was serviced in April with new piston and o rings) Back box chop Cooksport springs Track Focus direct steering rack bush R26R clutch TTV alloy flywheel Vibratechnics wish bone bushes EBC blue stuff pads on front Brembo HC discs Team Heko wind deflectors Modified short shifter Parts replaced in my ownership New original shocks (2015) New top mounts (2015) New original inner tie rods (2015) New tie rod ends (2015) New drop links (2017) New anti twist links (2015) New hub bearings (2014) New coil packs (2016) New lambda sensor (2015) New injectors (2015) All new engine mounts (2015) New exhaust mounts (2016) Brand new calipers on the rear (2017) New rear discs and pads (2017) Brake fluid changed yearly The car went through its MOT on 15th Aug and passed. The only bad point I really have to say about the car is the wheels could do with a Refurb due to ferodo ds1.11's being fitted previously and the brake dust ruined the wheels, if it hadn't have been for that the wheels would be in good condition, there is only one curb mark on them. I just haven't /won't have chance to get this done before the sale. And then of course just the general stone chips on the bumper and the odd very minor mark in a couple of places as you would consider on a 10 year old car, on the whole I would say the cars body work is in great condition otherwise though. As I have said and you will see if you view the car it has been very well looked after and you will also see by the amounts of receipts I have for the car. It was always a weekend car for me so never went through the stresses of a daily car. It literally wants nothing, I have kept the mods simple so you can still enjoy the car on a B road drive on a Sunday or nip to the shops if you want to. There is more I have probably missed if I come across it when going through the receipts I'll update the ad. The car is located in Nuneaton. I would like £6800 for the car which I think is fair considering it's age and mileage along with its spec and the condition, however I am willing to discuss serious offers. Thank you Chris
