07 plate R26 Megane **SOLD** ☹️

  1. 5/8/17 - description changed as I've had some interest from people with high expectations, its a good reliable car but will need some work to get it up to the standard it deserves.

    partial history, MOT May 2018,

Good bits - its an R26, mechanical limited slip diff, amazing handling. Its had an easy life and only been used occasionally in last 4 years, I don't have full garage service history from 2013 as its not done many miles so I've been doing annual oil change son it myself and last year changed the plugs too. Possibly the cheapest R26 for sale at the moment for reasons i'll come on to. Would make a great track car project. Car looks great with the F1 decals. Its fitted with Andrew Jeffs short shift gear change which transforms the way the car feels to drive and has a pipercross panel air filter which makes zero performance difference but will last years.

Bad bits - its got a few scratches, most of which will polish out. Has the usual array of stonechips which comes with having a 10 year old car. The worst bodywork bit is the front bumper, someone has swiped the rubber trim, also before i owned it 4 years ago at some point the front bumper has been hit and has a split near the fog light. Also the windscreen appears to be delaminating. Mechanically it could do with a new clutch soon and probably new rear brakes hence its priced low for an R26
.Also the wheels could really do with a refurb. And the a/c doesn't kick in.

Unfortunately we don't use it as much as it should, with a little bit of effort this car could be made great again and become an appreciating asset, would suit someone who wants a mechanically sound R26 on a budget and can improve the bad bits over time.. I've tried to be honest about the description as its got its flaws but has never let us down in 4 years of ownership. If your expecting flawless bodywork, this isn't for you. If it doesn't sell it'll either get p/x or I'll get for peanuts or get it fixed up and keep it for ever.

Price is negotiable but 'as is', warts and all, alternatively I can negotiate a price with these mechanical issues sorted out for you and you'll have a great car to build on.
