RS 275 Hubs?

  1. Hi,

Looking for a bit of advice as to what parts I need to replace the front hubs on my 2015 Renaultsport Mégane RS 275 Trophy.

Long story short. Last year I'd got my wheels & tyres rotated having bought two Michelin Pilot Sport 5's. These were placed on rear of the car & the rears which were Michelin Pilot Sport 4's placed on front. I had to change the front drop links & my mechanic had a hell of a job removing the wheels. The tyre place had overtightened the bolts causing two to shear off leaving the bolts stuck in the hub.

He managed to remove the bolts by drilling them out & carefully rethreading but last week upon getting two new Michelin Pilot Sport 5's fitted to the front at a different tyre place. Upon removing the wheel two more bolts snapped.

My mechanic has said best way forward is to purchase 2x new hubs & new wheel bolts for my car & I was wondering if these are the correct hubs for my car?

If not can anyone point me in the right direction as to what parts I need, either part numbers or website etc so I can get the parts required for my mechanic to repair my car again. Thanks in advance for any help or advice regarding this.

  2. Hi Kev
I have two brand new unused hubs as in your link, bought them for my R26, so i could use Mk3 wheels, but decided it wasn't worth the hassle.

  3. So is it just the parts above I'd need to change over so I can have my wheels secured with the five wheel bolts again instead of four?

    Does anyone know?

  4. Yes it is, they just press into the wheel bearings, then the nut of the drive shaft holds it all together .

  5. Thank you very much ianplymouth much appreciated.

Ended up having to order pattern parts from AutoDoc as RenaultPartsDirect despite saying they were in stock when I ordered let me down with supplying the OEM parts. Emailed another place who got back to me quickly saying they were having same issues with supply.

So fingers crossed these hubs do the job.

    Thanks again ianplymouth
