275 Trophy Ohlins Suspension

Discussion in 'Car Parts For Sale' started by Sam Havenhand, Aug 10, 2022.

  1. Full set of Öhlins suspension from my 275 Trophy for sale.

Car had 38,000 miles on when they were taken off. Only reason I’m selling, I now have KW suspension fitted so these have been stored in my garage waiting to be sold.

There is no paperwork to say they have been serviced but there is no problems with them at all.

Front shock absorber was replaced in November 2020, 6,000 miles ago at a cost of £890 (see image)

Looking for near to £900, collection from S25 Sheffield or Scunthorpe. Could potentially deliver / meet in the middle depending on distance and price I get. 81C3BEC8-28C3-4E0D-AB28-EE280D321B69.jpeg

  4. Well done. I was so close to having these.

Kind of sad & glad at the same time they are sold.

Cambelt + Brakes last month with the Credit Card Bill for it this month put paid to it.

And I can't end up with all your old suspension in my shed.

  5. hi Sam, how would you compare the ohlins vs the kws? i am trying to decide what to go for in a new car purchase. couple of trackdays a year and mostly social driving. I am interested in ability to adjust soft to hard to deal with UK roads as well as track driving. thanks!

  6. Don't think he gets on here much - He's active on Instagram pretty often and posts some good content of his Megane: samjh95_drives

I'm curious about it too. Please share the answer

  9. I previously had a megane that was on Bilstein B14s and was unreal through the corners. However when I got in the trophy the ohlins just didn’t give me the same confidence for some reason and didn’t feel anywhere near as planted.. so for me, the KWs have been absolutely immense and the height adjustment really helps standard top mounts by the way.

Thank you for the answer. I'm still thinking about switching the CUP suspension to either Ohlins like the Trophy or going after market with KWs

  11. That help me a lot. I´m on cup shocks+AST springs, and I feel a bit bumpy on B roads. I think to go to B14, but people in this forum says that is very similar. The point is a guy offer me a set of Trophy Olhins, a lot of money to be honest, so are my doubts.
    Thanks!

  12. The height adjustability just really helps me, I did nc500 last year and the car was brimming so had to raise it a few mm to avoid smashing my sump to bits.
