  1. Hi Guys,

Picked up my car last week and thought I’d create a thread to keep track of my progress. It’s already been modified and has some nice parts. (I’ll list them soon)

I’ve started off by cleaning brakes and arches, plus removing the toe eye and stickers.

  6. Blue 335i - Daily, few mods running 380bhp.

  7. Small update

Replaced the front speakers as 1 was blown and sounded like a wet fart. Nothing special, but nice to have sound again.

Also, replace the centre section of the exhaust for the non-res part. We direct to scorpion, who were extremely helpful. £52 for the pipe, which seemed very reasonable. The car sounds so much better for such a small change.

Next up will be Paint correction and few more mods...

  8. Shame I no longer have mine, same colour, wheels and kit, also 380hp, 720nm of torque....

  9. Res delete is probably the best mod for these. For daily driving the car is no louder but when you boot it wow what a difference from a £50 bit of pipe!

  10. With the ring trip cancelled, I thought I’d start on little jobs.

I like the black badges, but they were covers and in poor condition. Little refurb…

  11. Did a track day at the end of the year and then decided to take the car off the road for a few weeks to do some more preventive maintenance and general tidying up.

Track day at goodwood was fun, car really did well. One small spin…

Started by wax oiling all the pig iron at the back of the car. Boring job, but keeps the rust away.

It needs another coat, but already looking better. Cleaned out behind it, it was full of leaves. Certainly wouldn’t have helped with airflow.

Next up is a full clean and treatment for both arches and engine area, plus a full detail.

on a side note, I snap one of the bumper/wing joiners. The plastic brackets, if anyone has one. Please let me know.

Random new phone holder I printed

  12. Hi All, Been a little slow with the car, although just put some new tyres on and gave it a paint correction.

It's going for tracking next week, but before i do... Spacers... I've found a set of 15mm. THink this will be ok with no rubbing?

  13. You should be fine with the 15mm, I had 20mm and no rubbing but never tried with them on track.

  14. Bit late to this one but how did you find Goodwood? Lots of flowing high speed corners - Did the car feel balanced? Would be interesting to know what coilovers you are running!
