  1. Hi guys,

I read a post on the rs megane Facebook group that the company above can activate rs monitor on a 265 that didn't have it specced from factory.

It doesn't involve taking apart the dash and will give full rs monitor functionality.

    Oil temp
    Water temp
    Boost pressure
    0 to 60 times
    Engine maps
    Lap times
    G meter

Has anyone had this done by them? Costs £80 and they are based in Coventry. Can you confirm that this can be done? Are there any issues I should be aware of?

Sounds too good to be true! So I just want to be sure.

    Cheers

Yup have had this done from them. They are fantastic and know their stuff.

On my car it was simply a case of activating the OEM option via OBD as I had the right stalk and spec from factory. About 20 mins later I was done and on my way.

  4. Thanks for the confirmation guys.

In terms of right stalk and spec tex, mines a 2012 rs Meg 265. Some pics of interior below. Can you tell from them if mine has the correct stalk and spec?

I'm most interested in the throttle mapping. What map does a 265 run without rs monitor and what do you recommend with rs monitor? I read linear is best.

    Cheers

What is stopping you asking Stage X? They are the experts and will probably tell you far more than we could
I found them super responsive via phone/text/FB

  6. I think its to do with the audio/bluetooth stalk, rs monitor one and some of the none rs monitor ones have two buttons on the back, theres some that dont.

    Attached Files:

  7. yes would need one with two buttons on back plus the drop-down tag that activates the lap timer

  8. Didn't end up buying the megane on Saturday. Drove all the way down to hemel from bromsgrove to discover the car wouldn't engage 2nd and 4th gear at high revs.

Dealer put on 12 months fresh mot with no advisories, serviced including all belts done -

I won't name them but will say that the reg of the white rs 265 is LP12 LCG. Stay away from this car!

The search continues. I hope buying an unabused Meg rs is possible because it handled like a dream ! And I'm adamant I want one now.

  9. Good move, belts are important as is correct documentation and not just ‘I’m absolutely sure they’ve been done....honest’
