R26 Cruise Control and Driver info screen

Hi guys,

In my R26, I tend to leave the cruise control rocker switch set to cruise (rather than the middle position or down for the limiter). Previously, whenever I started up the car, cruise would be on, but lately I've found that I need to turn it on each time I get in. Not the end of the world, but kind of annoying.
What is the correct behavior for the cruise control? If the switch is left in the on position, should cruise be enabled when turning the car on?

Similarly, my driver info screen (the one where you get your MPG etc) used to always default to the "no available messages" screen, but now it seems to load up on a random screen when starting the car.

Any reason these 2 things would have changed? Battery problems?
