    Hello guys,

I'm a happy owner of a black RS 250. Unfortunately I noticed the upper part of the wheel arch body widener is coming loose.

I went to my local dealership and they said they can't order the double sided adhesive strip that is holding that upper part together. They have to order a new wheel arch that includes the strip + spray the wheel arch matching the car's color. This job would cost me between 250 to 300 euro in total.

Does anyone experienced this already. Is there a way to get the strip or glue it together? Is it easy to DIY?

    Thank you in advance

  2. Open a search engine and type in double sided tape?

  3. i think he was looking for a solution rather than a sarcy comment

In the past I've used some self drilling screws along with some strong adhesive to bond mine together. seemed to work well for a few years. just be careful when driving through large puddles as this is the main cause of damage to the trim

Hello sir, thank you for your answer.

I tried to find some information on how this upper wheel bodykit is attached to the wheel arch. But couldn't find it. How did you properly remove it to attach the new adhesive or did you remove the wheel arch liner and drill in some screws from the inside?

  5. removed the wheel, and just tried my hardest to lap them equally with the 3M tape and then screwed it through. after that i just hoped for the best that it wouldnt fall apart and puncture my wheel lol

  6. not sure what part you mean...got foto ??
