Hi Guys, Just bought myself an RS250 CUP in oyster grey, after spending the last month finding one with the right spec and price etc.. I'm not new to RS's as i've been on your cousin site cliosport.net for the past 6 years. Any tips or tricks would be appreciated. After spending a week or two on this site i've decided to start with the following once i pick her up next Saturday: Mid Box Delete MEGANE removal from the boot lid Black insert headlamps ITG Induction Kit Forge Motorsport Dump Valve Black diamonds (Still on the fence with this) Glass black the roof (Still on the fence with this) EIBACH lowering springs (Temp till i can get a decent set of coilovers) Anything else you guys may think would be beneficial i would appreciate. Hopefully see some of you out there on the road (North East Durham/Newcastle area)
Hi mate, welcome across. Nice choice of colour there too. Plans looks good but personally I'd swap the Eibach springs for a remap. The cars ride and handle brilliantly as standard and unless you're going to serious coil-overs, I'd leave it be and spend the money on a little more power/torque which they can be improved on for little money. HTH
Hi, thanks.. Yeah it was between grey and white! Unfortunately it's came with one year warranty and I can't really do anything or it will void it. Trust me the remap is the first thing I want to do. Superchips (who I had the 182 remapped with) do a stage 2 which takes it up 82bhp so that's the goal!

Welcome, congrats on the car, great colour. IMHO I'd be careful with the superchips remap, many have said that they run pretty lean.
Lean? What do you mean. I've heard RStuning are quite good but I don't know if there's one up near me..
Lean refers to the air/fuel ratio. A bad map can cause a lot of problems - lean will make it run hot. RStuning is the usual choice of mapper on here (in Leeds), but there are other as well. Superchips isn't one of the others however...

Seems a bit quiet on the meet side of things. Malton Breakfast Meet is a good run and day out, can't remember if it's September or October the next one. Usually meet up in Stokesley for the drive over
Welcome mate, it's nice to see another member from the northeast. Should have got white tho I took my old 225 to rs tuning only took about 2.5 hrs!!! The Malton meet is a good one, there hasn't been any local ones for a while now . I'm in Houghton by the way. There's plenty of national meets just depends what sort you want? I'm of to silverstone in September for WSR for 2 day and that should be good, just hope they have a time slot to get us on a parade lap

Yeah, same i was going to buy a white one from Glasgow, but the saw the O.G one and all reason went out the window. Sweet, sounds cool.. when i get her ill hit you up or something, see when the clio lot are having another meet etc.
