Hi everybody! Im chris, from west cumbria. Im currently looking for a megane rs250 cup, preferably with recaros and rs moniter, however condition and history will be higher priority. I currently drive a mazda6 mps, it made 357bhp&370lbft on the dyno last week, it goes well but even with extensive handling mods its just too heavy to be fast in the twisties. iv been caught by rs250/265's at both oulton park and the nurburg ring (sigh) but thats mainly why i now want one, well that an it seems to come top of most hot hatch reviews for handling and fun. My frend has a clio197 f1 which is an absolute blast to drive! Ill do my bes to search before i ask any annoying newb quiestions If anyone could point me in the direction of any buyers guid/common problems/usefull info id be very gratefull. heres my current motor.
i like the r26 R but if i were to buy a 2 seater it would have to be an elise! just a bit too impractical for me.
Welcome chris, I very nearly bought a red mps 6 from Southampton last year as I just fancied one, always regretted not buying it as they are fantastic value for what you get 4 ya buck, good luck on your new hunt mate

Welcome, I do like the MPS is both 3 and 6 guises. The pace of these round the Nordschleife is what drew me to them as well, Must be almost 5 years now since i first experienced one. Mental for a stock road car. Maybe not so much now going by other manufacturers offerings that are about these days but it still holds its own considering the original MK3 RS Megane is what, over 5 years old now. Impressive
I had a 3 MPS and whilst it was a lovely car and quick in a straight line - it was very dull to drive. Flexy chassis and bad damping. You will adore the renault chassis
You don't happen to work in Barrow do you Chris? I actually saw a 6 MPS today parked up in Barrow, same colour as yours and they're pretty uncommon around here. Didn't get a look at the plate, just wondering if it was yours.
Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. Has anyone bought there car from kteck? Whats the company like to deal with? @ benno. I work in millom there are 3 mazda6 mps' in millom. All silver like my one. Quite funny considering there were only a thousand made for the uk.
I was the first one though I dont think there are any megane rs250/265's arround mind. I like having something no one els has!
So i finally got my Megane, im pretty pleased with her so far, i found one with the speck i wanted, plus a few extras Does anyone recognise or know the car?
