Just be careful. Just got back Monday. Two people at my hotel had ( M3 / S2000) run in`s with the armco!. One had a blowout on a new Michelin PSS doing 120mph at the end of Flugplatz!
'Bridge to Gantry' - its the Nordschleife without the main straight basically - it's a way of timing on a tourist day when you can't do an actual full lap

Did an 8:18.6 today with loads of traffic Sub 8 is close and easy but I need a trackday I think, tf is far to busy and you lose four seconds due to accelerating from standstill to the bridge. Video to follow Dru
I did 22 laps, my best time was this, it was my warm up lap and I thought the track was open until 7 but it was only open until 6. Not the sub 8 I wanted but I'm confident on a trackday I can get a sub 8, especially with the extra four seconds you get for entry speed through the gate, anyway. Enjoy http://youtu.be/xqgWcTukc3o

It slowed me down through a whole sector mate losing me about 5-6 seconds. Yeah mate this month probably, only came home because it's the n24 week and the tracks closed.
Tell you what Dru great driving mate, lose the passenger theres a few secs too lol, after watching the vids I am sure he don't wanna go again anyway lol, really enjoyed them pal and cheers for sharing....10 out of 10 for effort and commitment lol
So the "Standard Car" you keep bleating on about is very standard when you were doing the quick laps....

Cheers mate I'm going back on the first week of June to try and break into the sevens, feel like I'm learning the car more every day at the moment lol 29 rear and 26 front mate, then after half a lap they warm up and then I was doing my fast lap. Get about 30psi all round that way. My 8:12.2 was on the warm up then they shut the track lol that's why it's so squealy at first haha
It'll take some doing getting in the 7s I think but I'm no ring expert, but from the commitment you've got along with the track knowledge you may just do it, just proves talent over power, what's the mileage on the R26, good luck and be safe, steve. ps where are you based
