I went last year, but this year it starts 3 hours after Manny Pacquaio and Mayweather start.. So I'll just be going to FOS this year
Yep, rock up and walk in. Free entry. Is absolutely awesome when you get close and hundreds upon hundreds of supercars arrive. Saw 2 Koenigsegg CCX, a Zonda and an LFA last year Along with circa 4 F40's
Decided I'll be going to this. Convoying from Farnham at 7am.. should be with an R8, Huracan, couple of C63's and some other sheds  Will be a good morning
I Might get up and sneak out for this before the wife and kids are up Weather forecast is poor though.....
Yeah it doesn't look too clever. Umbrella at the ready.. nothing this side of a tsunami will stop me getting up for Zonda's!
Weather was shocking, but what a fantastic morning, some amazing cars. I took my camera but as it was so wet I didn't bother and just took some snaps on my iPhone, couldn't get near the Zonda or the La Ferrari as they were permanently surrounded...
I saw the Scud Ed, but was locked up and no one around, it was beading nicely in the rain and Shmee of course made an appearance in his 650s The only downside, apart from the weathers the car park :eek::eek::eek: With my OCD I had a sudden and severe case of tourettes as I was driving out the car park lol Had an absolutely brilliant drive home though, sandwiched in-between a classic 911 Turbo and a Cayman S for most of the way, but also loads of other great cars on the roads too, Aston's, Lambo's etc. Back home by lunchtime and typically the sun then came out! So a good wash as it was bloody filthy! And tucked up in bed With work, kids and living down here, it's not that often I actually get the chance to have a real 'proper' drive, a great reminder of just how bloody good a 250 Cup is. I'd seriously love to own some the machinery there today, especially the white GT3, but for now in the real world, the 250 will do just fine....
Had a cracking day with many different highlights. The Scud coped well with the torrential rain and held its head high against the various modified supercars in the paddock. Ed had his own little highlight at the end of the day too.
A few more pics.... and the bloke driving this Rocket followed me into Goodwood first thing, 10 out of 10 for effort, he must have been soaked to the skin!
I did suggest to Ed that we take the Trabant instead but he thought that 26BHP might have been a bit of a handful in such tricky conditions. In the end I think he was probably right.
I saw you leaving Scooby, going off to the left at the roundabout - T23 CUP? Would do the day all over again, regardless of the weather. Had a great meet and convoy to the show with LEE 91's R8, and some other monsters
Apologies for the late reply the pain killers kicked in and I fell asleep. Great day out some very funny moments, the guy who thought he was cool in his mclaren MP4-12c which was done to look like a p1 decided to rev it next to a guy with a Huracan then looked quite deflated after. Also who could forget that stunning 360 spider and only 15k. Shame we didn't meet up Andy. oh and the reason for the painkillers was mainly due to the fact tvrman let me drive the Scuderia and I couldn't stop smiling.
I was stood right there as the mclaren and hurican were revving. The mclaren sounded just weak compared!
So many highlights for me and in no particular order: The drive down was fun even though we were blown into the weeds by a 4c. Comical DS3 parking, the marshall who thought I was a bit wide, questionable mods, Ed suggesting a few meanings for the number plate POS fitted to an amazing 911 (Oh no, it was a Cayman with a silly wing) with the owner (unknowingly) within earshot, revvy McLaren man, Jag XK man who lowered his roof to do the Shmee shuffle, the stanced Esprit, the young lad who said yellow Ferraris are best, the 15k 360 Spider (My god I was tempted), the abundance of respectable looking knobheads opening their valves at every opportunity, the realisation that R8s C63s and AMV8s attract a certain type of owner, the 'oh so approachable' bods on the P1 stand, the lad who asked me where my turbos were, the Mansory S Class and finally...............the look on Eds face when he got out after having a go in the Scud. He finally 'gets it'. Roll on next year.
