Hi all, just opened up my detailing kit and found all my DA pads have black mildew on them, would they be still be safe to use? If not then what pads do people recommend to use with LY? The paintwork is in pretty good condition with a few marks in the lacquer and a few scratches on the roof that should also polish out. Was planning on using my Sonus polishes which gave good results on my Arctic white Clio Any ideas? Thanks in advance
I personally wouldn't use them now mate with mildew on them, especially not on lovely liquid yellow paint. I'm a relative novice compared to a lot of people, but have tried a few pads lately, so far I've felt most comfortable and got the best results using Chemical Guys Hnexlogic pads. I'm sure others with more experience can recommend some other pads as well.
