if its your first track day I wouldn't go to coombe. it's quite a hard track and has very little run off. Bedford may be a better option for you if it is your first day.
if you still decide to go to coombe then make sure it's a open pit lane day with a good track day organiser

  3. Donington is also a good track for your first day, flows very well and a great track which is actually my fav track.

A lot of organisers do beginner days you may want to look at if at all nervous.

  4. Why not try Llandow near Cowbridge just out side Cardiff

  5. A club I run is going to Castle Combe next weekend (14th) for their Forge action day, we have a few track slots available for £20 per session if you (or anyone else) would be interested?

i would avoid these days at all costs for a bit of track time, you normally end up with far too many heros for one piece of track ime.

  7. So that wouldn't be advisable for a first track day session then? I've got one booked and it'll be my first in my my r26 let alone my first in my own car (I've done the odd experience day).

  8. Scott go for Bedford as your london ish

  9. Cool, I'll take a look into it

  10. I shouldve said that i've had an experience day at bedford when i had my RCZ and Ive been up the Prescott hill a few times .....I'll look into Llandow as I've also had a crack around that in a gearbox cart :-)

  11. Did anyone go to the Forge Action day today at Combe? There were a few R26s there, including myself and Ed Doe who went on track in the morning.
