  1. Fact me up !

  2. Green light , don't bother with as you are only insured if you use the standard tyre the car left the factory with, I know this for sure I've been there and done it, I'm now with mannings uk , fully comp all mods declared , I can run any tyre inc full slicks on track and I'm fully insured on any track day without giving them notice £543

  3. Thats your normal years road insurance but includes any track use......right ?

  4. if you claim on track with road + track insurance most will make you loose all your no claims.

  5. As Steve says .. Mannings

I'm too young to get insured with mannings so had to go with Greenlight . All mods the lot for £480 with protected no claims

£50 per trackday but they might be picky about your tyres .. They never mentioned it when I rang up so neither did I

  6. Yes, fully comp on road and track day cover

  7. And , what's that got to do with anything, if I write off my car and get paid out ill be happy to lose my NBC , mines protected as well so I don't get what your on about

  8. Then I suggest you read the T&CS

  9. I'm insured, losing my NBC will be the last thing on my mind if I total it

  10. I never said you weren't. The OP asked for facts. I was pointing one out with most (don't know of one that doesn't) road + track insurance a claim looses all NCD protected or not.

  11. Chiaki Khunt.

  12. Fook it mate, that's the way

  13. you cant be serious

  14. I seriously hope you are kidding. Driving without insurance is just stupid

  15. don't bother with track insurance, just don't push yourself or the car too much but have fun, my first was cadwell not much room for error but I had fun , always remember does not matter how fast your car is there will always be more "track cars" faster so just have fun and be safe my 2p worth john.

  16. Are you sure Mannings insure you FULLY COMP on track? Very very unusual for insurance companies to do this....

  17. They have with me ,

  18. Checked with Greenlight yesterday, fully comp on track, any tyres as long as they are road legal

  19. If you get caught they'll crush it and there's loads of number plate recognition cameras in vans and cars now and you'll be flashed up straight away as uninsured.

  20. He's been banned anyway ha ha

  21. Last time I checked the penalty for no insurance was 6 points and a fine ...

Crush it ..... Don't think so mate

  22. It quickly became clear joining this forum that all his posts weren't worth reading.

  23. Don't need people like that on here tbh.

Lol I just read some of his posts the guy is mad. Chiaki Khunt you are one cheeky cunt mate.

  25. From the DVLA -
"Penalties for uninsured drivers:If you’re caught driving a vehicle you’re not insured to drive, the police could give you a fixed penalty of £300 and 6 penalty points.

If the case goes to court you could get a maximum fine of £5,000 and disqualified from driving.

The police also have the power to seize, and in some cases, destroy the vehicle that’s being driven uninsured."

Round here the police are having a crack down and they are seizing and destroying.

  26. No insurance it'll be seized there and then(I think it's like 7 days then they will crush it if not collected!) , unless the officer is feeling nice and will allow someone who is correctly insured on it to come pick it u p. That person can then also been done for allowing the use of their vehicle to be driven uninsured...

    Happy driving

  27. i need to look into this as i fancy doing track days

and that guy should be reported not banned, what a $*@%
