  1. Had a fantastic day with the usual crowd, cheers guys for making it such a good day, also had a go in the new Clio 200 and the new 275 trophy, Clio shite on track and don't think it had enough power to pull your out of bed also very dull steering feel infact there was no feel then I took the 275 out for a few laps it was miles better with plenty of torque out of the corners and much better steering feel, i wouldn't part chop the R in for neither though, all most forgot that stupid engine sound gadget in the Clio, WTF is that all about, utter pointless silly gadget.
All just my opinion though , cheers Steve

  2. Did the 275 trophy have ohlins and cup tyres? Did it feel slower than your. R? Didn't feel as special as the.r then

  3. Agree with the Clio review Steve, had a go at Bedford and hated it.

  4. It was just the trophy, wouldn't of made much difference with the dampers anyway, it went well and drove well and I'm sure if you had one for the day then yes you would get a fair lick on round a track, I'm sure it would be a nicer car on the road than an R and for every day use, but special it wasn't, now where near as much fun as an R and no where near as chuckable as an R, I had my R on the stage 1 map so power was around the same although the R felt quicker everywhere and I could certainly notice the weight difference, I just couldn't imagine the trophy making me laugh like I do in the R26.R, most people that had MK2 meganes that I spoke to said the same, if I were to buy a MK3 then I'd just get a 265 I think and keep 16k in the bank or better still buy both for the same money, again just my opinion

  5. I was gutted Corey as I'd thought of getting my wife one, but I won't be bothering mate .

  6. No she wouldn't thank you for it. Now an older 200 in liquid yellow would look lovely on your drive!

  7. Yep and the 10k left in the bank mate

  8. I really enjoyed the 200t round bedford. found it very chuck able and the lift off over steer was nice too i'd buy one for the missis if she needed a new car.
