  1. Just thought Id say Hi and Hello

I was over on the 'other' forum but not very active tbh, more of a lurker  Some of you will know me from Clio197.net though

However I have just completed the build of my meg engined Clio so I'll put up a build thread shortly.

Looking forward to being more active on this forum

  11. Hi Cazan,

So what carbon bits do you make for us Megane MkII folks?
Can't seem to access any of your website without log-in details.

Always thought a carbon roof would be the most effective bit of added lightness (as it's at the top of the car) - in a theoretical "money no object" sense of course!

  12. Welcome

  13. Website is being updated at the moment hence the password. All the carbon bits should be uploaded by tomorrow so I'll remove the password. From then all the other bits and pieces will go up daily including brake kits, suspension, engine accessories, silicone hoses etc .

As for carbon fibre, for the Meg 225/230 we only have tailgates and bonnets at the moment and for the 250/265 we have a carbon bonnet available but hopefully we can work on getting products developed over the autumn/winter period for both cars.

You mention a roof but what other products would people like to see?

  14. All the same stuff that Streamline do, at the same or better quality, but cheaper

  15. Lol.. That's what the Clio boys said

  16. I was sticking some heat reflective film on the underside of my carbon bonnet at the weekend, to prevent the heat damage issues that some owners have encountered. It gave me the idea for a potentially useful part: a carbon bonnet vent. Could be designed to retrofit into an exiting metal bonnet or you could integrate it into your full carbon bonnet as an alternative to the standard-fit R bonnet. I think a single vent in the hot area could look really neat and "OEMish" if well designed (especially with heat haze rising from the vent after a good blast). Here's a quick and dirty photoshop:

Happy to offer my professional product design services and CAD skills if it means I could get a discount
