Just picked up a pair of Recaro Trendlines, half leather / Alcantra, for my DCI 175. They are in excellent condition, but I would still like to give them a good clean to get them looking 100%. Ive have had a little look on the tinterweb but theres not much about cleaning Alcantra. I have ordered some Race Glaze Alcantra cleaner that should turn up in a couple of days. Has anyone got any ideas / guides on how to clean my lovely seats ? regards Bob
I would pick up the raceglaze leather brush aswell I've got the raceglaze Alcantara cleaner and it's really good . Just mist the Alcantara lightly then give a light brush . When you've finished wipe off with a dry microfibre to remove as much cleaner/dirt as you can . You don't want them wet , the microfibre should soak up most of the moisture And regards to the leather a gentle scrub with a leather cleaner and brush to clean them up . Then protect them with a leather conditioner Personally I use auto finesse looks great
sonax upholstry and alcantara spray cleaner is good aswell, just cleaned up my recaros in my Evo simple to use and good results
Good to hear about the Sonax...nearly bought some but a friend put me off saying it's a bit harsh? Is it a mousse?
Hello Mark, wasn't sure if you had sold your seats ? My Race Glaze Alcantra cleaner turned up today. I did try sending you some pics earlier this week but I couldn't attach them to a pm on here. Can you pm me a email address and I will send you some hi-res pics this weekend. I can see why you want a set, the Alcantra material grips you tighter than a bear hug from Big Daddy ! regards Rob
