want to buy a powerflex road series for my car to make suspension much more stiffer Does anyone have experience with them?
I recently had this set fitted: https://www.powerflex.co.uk/products/Megane+III+RS+(2008-2016)-3100/1.html They haven't made the suspension noticeably stiffer but they have made turn in and response sharper.
also to note as they don't affect your suspension choice there's nothing to loose in fitting the harder black series as they offer sharper turn-in which is presumably what you are looking for If want stiffer suspension fit firmer springs
Again Interesting. I was thinking of giving some bushings a try a while back but gave up on the idea, thought would be to much hassle and possibly wouldn’t like the results for a car I use daily. May have to think again. Obviously Ideal to do the lot but what ones would you say are most important/effective?
just need to decide what want from vehicle, if its DD with not much extreme track or B road use then absolutely nothing wrong with factory bushes If wanting more aggressive sharper quicker responsive and change of direction several things to do, one is stiffen the bushes other mods could be suspension, engine mounts and geo settings
Mainly daily driver, like to smash a b-road and do a few trackdays a year. Have got too engine Mount insert and changed the lower gear bow mount, anything that sharpens up the handling is a plus as far as I’m concerned. Cheers for info something to think about.
No input on the bushings, although I was just looking at them last night.... And you are correct regarding the wear sensors. LF and RR. iPhone 5S. Tapatalk Pro. BOOM
