Getting bits together to attempt a suspension refresh and remembered the garage saying the 13mm bolts were a little rounded so will get some in case I need to replace them. Want to cover all scenarios before I take it all apart. Anyone know what size and spec the 13mm bolts are? Also, anyone tried the AtoZ aftermarket lower arms: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/273142333236 Or is it better to pay double the price for Renault ones?
Not sure on the bolts. I have used aftermarket arms, not sure if its exactly those ones though. You can get all the bushes for the arms from your local motor factors, i have also fitted the powerflex bushes, just don't bother with the adjustable ones they kept moving and putting the tracking out.
Thanks. Just trying to work out final cost to refurbish my old arms assuming I'd need a garage to press in out/in the bushes versus just getting new arms.
In case it helps anyone. I just bought some hub carrier bolts from Renault. 6 bolts for £34.99 !! Would have been cheaper to get them from somewhere else but I didn’t know the spec. If anyone needs some they are part number 77 03 002 692 they are M10 x 30mm flanged hex head bolts (threaded their entire length) and are 10.9 grade steel (not stainless).
