  1. Hi,

Looking at buying an oil cooler following some rather high oil temps on a recent track day.

Does anyone know what fittings I need/are best etc out of these options (photo attached) car is a 2010 rs250 cup.

    Cheers

  2. 10AN braided cotton, kit needs making up to fit wherever you decide put cooler, would also recommend cooling fan need have v good understanding of how cut hose correctly, make up the Aeroquip hose connectors which is not easy if not done before and have correct size spanners so dont damage alloy fittings plus will need correct size socket to fit the thermostat plate centre fixing. for first time fitting took around 10 hrs to design, make-up then fit unit. Car lift ramp is massive help

  3. Thanks for the reply!

I've got a mechanic friend doing the work on a ramp so none of the above should be to much trouble.

Just wondering why 10AN and why braided cotton, over stainless steel?

    Cheers
