I offered £8,500 without the seats or £9,000 with the seats with a collection on the Saturday prior to the auction ending on the Monday but seller couldn't go that low. So I've no idea what happened after the auction to whether seller didn't sell or whether he took £1,275 less + paypal fees. Was nice chap, seemed very genuine and easy to communicate with. I was just open and honest on how I valued it, he was the same on what he'd sell for and we just didn't meet on the same page. On that Saturday I went and bought a Megane so this one never materialised
They aren’t. I bought the car from Kyle and have spent a few quid on it but have now decided to sell and just concentrate on my M2. A little negotiation by a buyer would see me get my money back, nothing more. That eBay ‘sale’ never happened and I bought it after that from Kyle at a higher price. It was already a decent car but now having had a little bit of TLC and some further work having been carried out I’d like to think that it will be a lovely track car for someone else.
