Anyone know the thickness of the rear roll bar on the R26. My bush mounting is rusted right out,and very much doubt if i can get the genuine bush and mounting clip with ,covid lockdown in dealerships..
There's a recent thread where somebody has just refurbished their rear axle beam and used an aftermarket bush bolted/welded on.
yep..but i cant get them now with covid lockdown...and i suspect the whole lot will be fkd like chris`s
I have one of the super pro poly bush’s and brackets left over in the shed but would mean you’d need to get a plate welded on the beam to accept it. The original design is absolute crap considering how susceptible the mount point (m6 bolt) is to weathering. The beam I removed from my car will probably need the same doing to it as the mount is nothing more than orange dust on that one too!
