  1. Hi Guys

I have a 2007 megane gt dci 3 door and was thinking about upgrading the seats to recaro ones out a F1 megane

my question is are they a worthwhile upgrade ? are they comfortable and what price should i be looking at to buy them

    thanks

  2. Rare find and about £700 to £800 last time I looked...unless another set of tredlines fit from another car..evo??

you need the Megane trendlines as they recline for the 3 door. as said a set will be between 6-800 depending on condition and full leather or not etc.

  4. Thanks guys

are they comfortable are they worth the money

I changed mine to trendlines and there 10 times better than the standard shite!

  6. Put it this was, buy them and you'll get your money back when you sell them

i dont think they are the comfiest but are ok, but they are the easiest seat to get fitted and look oem still

I agree with you there mate

  10. I haven't sat in the standard seats but I find the trendlines very comfortable and supportive.

They are comfy to sit in for everyday driving but absolutely shit for support when driving hard or on track. I found that when I was at Oulton, I was using my left leg to hold myself in position when going around a corner by leaning it against the centre console.

  12. Standard seats are a lot more supportive.

  13. this. glad they sorted it for the 250/265 !

  14. I will not be driving the car round the track so that will not be an issue thanks for all your views guys

i know where there is a set with the i/2 leather recaros for sale but did not know if they were worth the money they want for them but going by you guys £600- £800 is the norm depending on condition

just the thought of that sort of money leaving my pocket its scary lol

It is when what you have is already more than up to the task - personally it's better spent elsewhere.

One thing I have noticed with second hand Recaros is a lot of them have scuffs to the backs of the seats - that wouldn't do for me!

  16. Hi Daz

i understand what your saying mate maybe i will think about it a bit more

    thanks for all your opinions

  17. my DCI75 is fitted with these seats and it was one of my stipulations when i bought one, they look fantastic and are 100% identical to the recaros in my Evo 6 but id say t you loose alot in options and comfort compared to standard spec

    lumber? height adjustment? optional heating

another factor i wanted recaros was that i find the headrest adjustment design on the orig seat very very poor, by that i mean it just breaks

i had the same problem on my 54 plate laguna , once the headrest were up you needed to be merlin to put them down, and at a glance other that the 5 door 3 door difference they were pretty much the same seat, was comfy though
