I am wondering how hard is to install it? I have some mechanical skills and always try to do things which i can by myself but just wondering about some hints that can help me? Thanks a lot
Ok, take the whole leg off when changing the front struts, Discs and callipers off, Bottom arm ball joint, track rod, drop link and anti twist link all off. Undo the driveshaft and push it out. Undo the top mount, out it comes, swap the struts over on the floor or in a vice, reinstall. Sent from my FRD-L09 using Tapatalk
Rears are just basic twist beam style, undo the shock bolts, take the springs out, take the shocks out, refit the new shocks on the top bolts, put the new springs in, tighten the bottom shock bolts, done. Sent from my FRD-L09 using Tapatalk
no, will be doing in a garage with hole(dont know how you call it) but will be lifting the car altogather on stands and also will be installing decat. my driveshaft spacer still didnt come, can i put it on later? will be any negative effect if will be driving like that for a week?
Suspension is fine on stands. No massive benefit being on a lift. The Decat however, not a job i would enjoy on the floor Sent from my FRD-L09 using Tapatalk
I was able to install mine using this video as a guide, though I have to admit that I can understand German...
I also find that videos, also for downpipe and intercooler, i will be fitting custom Mishimoto 600x300x76mm
What is best way to set up coilovers equally? Measuring from wheel center or edge to edge of wheel gap or? Some advices will help a lot
Can you adjust the spring pretension separatly from the height or ? Sent from my LG-D855 using Tapatalk
Thanks guys, will do from the floor, from the edge and centar at each wheel I just made optics done yesterday at renault when they changed my steering wheel rod ends, can i fuc*ed up it with lowering or?
Maybe i didn write well, yesterday i changed rod ends and they made me optics at renault service with coilovers on the car but not lowered yet full, if i lower it now would that anyhow affect it?
You should get your car realigned. Regarding the height make it in to the ballpark with the wheel arches, then put the wheels of each axle on a weight and balance the car with the height so each of the wheel on an axle is equally loaded. Sent from my LG-D855 using Tapatalk
