Hi boys & girls... My name is Chris from Plymouth, Devon. I had a nice modified Twingo RS133 which I built to do a few track days in and as a enjoyable daily at the same time, as much fun as it was I had always had powerful cars previously and a few long journeys in it made me question if it was right. Circumstances changed and I needed a bigger car anyway so I decided to replace it. This is said replacement... Megane 225 in Inferno orange, Stage1 remap, custom stainless exhaust, R26 suspension, R26 rear lights, cruise control, auto lights etc... Really enjoying it so far! Plans are for some Cooksport lowering springs, a better exhaust system (longer term plans), refurb the wheels and get some badge covers painted to match the wheels along with some new mirror covers in the same finish, maybe some F1 style exterior decals but unsure at the moment. Travelled all the way up to Newcastle and back in the same day to get it, not a journey I want to do again in a hurry as 14 hours pretty much non stop driving isn't my idea of a relaxing weekend lol. A very thorough snow foam, wash, iron out followed by a two stage machine polish, sealed and then waxed the car with Waxaddict Vitreo and I'm really pleased with how it's come up. Anyway, here are a few pictures...
Hi and welcome Where about's are you in Plymouth, this now makes 3 inferno megane's in Plymouth now, there was me thinking it was an exclusive colour.
Either some excellent washing skills, or excellent photo work going on there! Or both! Looks brilliant!
Thanks guys I do photography as a hobby, and used to run my own valeting company for 10 years... so appreciate the kind words. I'm near St Budeaux area, I know Dean has another Inferno locally too but not sure if he's on this forum or not.
The other one that is in Plymouth looks very shiny, too shiny (unlike mine) but it's had a respray, so it is quite possible it's that nice
It is a slightly different shade... which is often the case on Meganes from my experience. The bodywork is metal where as the petrol flap is plastic. The same can happen with the lower part of the tailgate for the same reasons, the sun bleaches it quicker. The flap was actually not the original one as the one that came with the car had been painted badly with a rattle can - so this was one off ebay. In daylight however, there's not a noticeable difference just under certain artificial lights.
Very true lol, well nearly... half was in the new car the other half was in the old one travelling up.
Welcome! Your car looks very nice! Awesome colour[emoji106] Gesendet von meinem SM-G900F mit Tapatalk

Thanks Chris, Should of cleaned it, I can make the 18th, but i think my car will be in a thousand parts, maybe after the engine is in and i will give it a clean and polish just the once
