265 Does "normal" H&R springs will fit the 265 cup?

  1. Hello,

I've spoke with H&R about buying those springs for my 265 cup and they say that they haven't tested it, only with the RS:

    part number: 28997-1
    part number: 28997-2

Do you know which one of them I need? if any of them is even good...

    Thanks!

  2. Extra lowering will destroy this car mate....

  3. I'm aiming for 20-25 mm lowering as the car is not lowered at all. I see lot of guys here lowered their car with springs or coilovers...

  4. I have H&R springs on my 250 cup so I can't see why it wouldn't fit a 265 cup?

And it hasn't destroyed the car at all.

  5. I can also vouch for H&R springs on my 250. Car is lowered 20-25mm which looks spot on and certainly does not destroy the car.

  6. Are either of you running spacers?

  7. Where would people suggest buying the springs from? Cheers.

  8. I have a set of brand new H&R'S in my garage. I planned to fit them to my 250 but now I'm selling the car so they won't be used. I payed £185 I'll sell them for £160 delivered if your interested?

  9. Nope

  13. jwilliams: I plan to buy those in a trip to europe (I live in Israel) this week so I think it won't worth delivering it to Israel but thanks for the offer !

And thanks guys for the info, looks like a good buy. can anyone tell how the fast road driving changed for him with the springs? I prefer it from buying coilovers and change all the car as the main issue now is just lowering a bit to make to car look better and maybe reduce corner rolls..

  14. That ride height looks perfect.

  15. They are £160 posted, brand new from Larkspeed. Not knocking you or anything budd.

  16. Thats fair enough mate. £140 then

  17. Your inbox is full.
