R26 Wheel Spacers

Discussion in 'Suspension, Brakes, Wheels & Tyres section' started by bristolnate, Dec 7, 2015.

  1. So I picked up my 175 DCi on Friday, love the car but it looks to high and the wheels are lost.

Thinking of going with H&R Springs but what are peoples thoughts on spacers?

I know hub-centric with longer bolts etc but what about sizes? 20mm sound about right all round?

Any pictures would be great as Google is not helping me at all...

  2. I have 20s on rear they look great. I only have 5s on the front which are too small. I think 10 on front would be ideal as 20s on the front an look too much in my opinion of course

  3. The ideal size for the Megane 2 is 18mm rear and 10mm front which I have on my 225 Trophy along with Cooksport springs.

Looks and sits perfect all round.

Ive been researching these quite a lot over the last few weeks and tried various sizes but these are by far the most suited.

I've found a company that actually makes these inhouse and liasing with them about setting up a group buy for members on here. They also supply stud & nut kits to suit.

I'll keep you all informed about the progress.

    Thanks

  4. Would certainly be interested in these if the group buy happens.

  5. Don't suppose you've got any pics of you're car with these spacers on? Mines on coilovers and does spend quite a bit of time on track,I'll spacers ruin my handling?

  9. These are the ones that I have lads.

    10mm front and 18mm rears.

If if anyone wants to take over the group buy then drop them an email as I'm flat out on other things with work at the moment.

    Thanks

    Kris

Are you using studs? If so what size?

  13. Really?? In there item description for 68mm stud kit it says upto 10mm spacers?

    - 68mm length allows for most spacer thicknesses (up to +10mm) to be used without changing studs.

  14. I had 19mm spacers (K-Tec) all round on MAPS studs. Car handling is much improved. Better solution is a set of wheels with an off-set to include the wider track so less stress on the bolts and hub. Just by chance I am selling exactly that!! See my other posts for details.

Yes, they checked the combination for me before I ordered. You can't use them on the front though.
