Full Genuine ITG induction kit

    Hi All
    Bought a Genuine ITG induction kit last month, unfortunately though my water pump has decided to start leaking (only 18 months old argh!) so I need to replace the timing belt etc all over again
    So with this in mind Ive decided to sell the ITG to recoup some cash! I bought the kit 2nd hand but is like new, it came with a replica battery tray so I have purchased a brand new genuine one from ITG so this will be with the kit.
    Am currently in work so not got any pics but ill post some tonight
    Will take £200 including postage for the full kit.

    Tell you what lads, just to give you the heads up that I've got one of these on my 225 Meg and they are a real piece of kit. I really rate mine and my techie absolutely loves the noise of it. Whoever buys this will not be disappointed.

    Is this ITG kit, the best option for a 225 out there?

    I made some research, there was a point (2011) where the best option for 225 induction was simply a panel filter, without other modification.

    As I am new with the RS, I am not really up to date with this.

    Is this unit tested, dynoed, reviewed??

    I 'm mostly interested in some more "sharpness" in low revs, not crazy things, unbearable noice etc.

    I didn't really want to start (again in my life) with all this mod stuff, I m not a kid anymore :smile:, but this forum starts tending to be my disaster, lol. and RS by itself of course

    I wouldnt buy this specific unit here though, as I live in Germany (shipment costs etc.)

    Would appreciate any feedback on all this.

    Basically Jean,

    The ITG kit is a complete replacement for the standard box and air filter. The air filter option is a straight forward modification that allows for improved breathing with limited induction noise and performance enhancement probably 2-4hp. The ITG has been dyno'd to produce somewhere in the region of between 8-12hp . But I would at this point say that there is a vast increase in induction noise, quite a lot of sucking and increased chatter. Id recommend you have a go in a car with one fitted. I love mine and would recommend to anyone.
