RS monitor 'normal' vs 'normal normal'

  1. I'm looking for a 250 to double up as my wife's daily runaround and my occasional track day toy.

I test drove one yesterday, my main concern being that it would be a bit full-on for the Mrs since she's used to a Yaris, but in fact it was fine. This one had the RS monitor and we were in 'normal' mode.

How does that throttle mapping compare to 'normal' mode in a car without the RS monitor? I've no interest in the 'extreme' setting which apparently saves you the trouble of moving the accelerator pedal a few inches, but I'd like to know it's not going to be twitchy. 'Progressive' mode was nice but I can live without it.

It's the same AFAIK, mine had no RS Monitor as standard but the pedal feels the same with it set on normal.

Linear is the best mapping for it anyway
