225 Rear disc size help.

  1. Hello,

    My rear discs are well and truly worn out and will need replacing before its mot in a couple months.

    The problem is I don't know what size bearings I need 25/30mm.

    As far as I am aware the car is a 08 phase 2 225 with cup pack which would need 25mm.
    But trying to read the part number of the corroded hub it looks like it could be a 30mm.

    The discs currently on are drilled brembos with the following part no on the hub 8200650??? (the last digit looks like a 4)

    If anyone can shed some light as to what size I need or have the ability check my reg against the Renault database to see if it is actually a 225 cup I would be grateful.

    Cheers

    do you have a 30mm and a 36mm socket?

  3. I'm not sure, if I don't I would bet my neighbour will have.
    I take it the nut size corresponds to the bearing size?

    yeah

    30mm = 25mm
    36mm = 30mm

  5. Great, I'll have a look the next time I get the wheel off.

  6. Well finally got round to checking, and they are 36mm. Good job I checked or I would have been ordering the wrong size for my 225.

    Do any other 225 owners have 36mm nuts?
