Rear Brake Disc

  1. HI guys. Im thinking of upgrading the rear brake discs on my RS. I have a Rs250 (non-cup) and i already have the grooved brake discs on the front as they where a direct replacement. Are the rear discs the same i know they have the bearings built into them. But i heard the cup has a different rear axle than my car and if thats the case maybe the bearing is a different diameter? Cheers for the help:smiley:

  2. The discs are the same size between cup and non-cup on the 250, but apart from looks there is not really any performance benefit from changing from smooth the grooved rear discs. Sure, there is a small benefit in cooling a fade resistance with grooves as it allows the gases to escape when the brakes are really hot, but in reality, and especially on the rear discs, you will never get the brakes hot enough to see the difference.

  3. Thanks for that was a great help:smiley:
