Hi I'm new to the site and I have a used renault megane 225 lux with the cup package or so I'm told I've also owned 2 renault 19 16v's which where great reliable cars a long time ago I can remembering seeing a megane sport years ago and thinking it would be cool having one of those....how wrong was I. 225s getting long in the tooth now. As with most older cars..unless they are cherished,unseen problems mount up. My mega low mileage R26 has had 1000s spent on it this year on just maintenance and cosmetic refreshing. needs a clutch and flywheel to really,as the release bearing is sticking...so might as well do it all while its in bits the joys of older cars.
