Mk3 LED question

Discussion in 'Electrical & Interior - Security, ICE, Wiring Loom' started by dave77, Oct 18, 2018.

  1. So I replaced all the bulbs in my car to LED's, interior and exterior, the only ones that won't work are the stop/taillight ones, they are the correct bulb size and are double filament, they light up ok when the lights are switched on, but when the brake is applied they don't light up brighter like they should, anyone any ideas why, thanks

  3. I dint know if the wiring to the stop lights needs some type of resistor to work correctly or what the problem is, seems nobody on here knows either lol

  4. Have you tried canbus and non canbus?

Do the brake lights light up with your lights turned off?
