Recently I went on an Alpine trip with a couple mates. A week long hoon, Switzerland, Italy and (a lot of) France, only stopping for fuel and lunch! Had some brake fade after a really long (and fast) descent in Italy, so I took the flaps under the bumper off. Never experienced any issues after that, though I did have the fluid changed when I got home? With the trunk filled with a full size jack, 19" wheel and some tools + regular luggage, I got a bit of rubbing. No problem with the AST's, adjusted them 1 click stiffer: It's funny how you can feel such small changes when you're driving fast all day, just 1 click (out of 16) made quite a difference on turn in, with the rear being a tad more mobile. Some random pics, mainly made by the others, to give an impression:: Took the car in for a service when I got back, just because the milage added up. Nothing irregular, car held up great over 2000 fast miles!
Just want to say how much I love this blog, it was a big inspiration for me starting to work on my own car I bought the same sub as you got from Germany and I love it!! Keep up the great work, your photos are stunning
Perfecte auto voor de trip! Kom je toevallig uit de buurt van Barneveld, of stop je gewoon graag bij de McDonald's daar?
Car has been sold last weekend, want to have some RWD-fun next. Sad to see it go, didn't fault me in any way. Only needed some fresh tires and a new clamp on the GT Performance muffler delete over the last half year or so.
