  1. So the cage and seats are in. I also got my friend to weld in mounting points for the new battery cage.

    I am going to give it a good clean, finish off a few wee bits then it will be MOT'd before going for paint.

    I need to weigh the window regulators and new door cards but I reckon I have saved about 7.5 - 10kgs per door. Helps offset the weight of the cage.

  4. So I removed the boot floor for modification and got the interior painted at a friend's bodyshop. I also got him to cut a hole in the roof for the new scoop. I am quite happy with how it has turned out. The next few weeks will involve bolting the cage and seats in for the final time, fitting the front windows, dash back in, tidying all the wiring and relocating the battery. Getting there slowly.
