Timing belt/aux belt/water pump changed 08/15 at around 45k miles. In over 2 years of ownership I have ensured the car has remained in top mechanical condition with no expense spared. Large amount of preventive maintenance work carried out to ensure the car drives as well as it should. Parts replaced include: New genuine cup shocks front and rear, track rod ends, tie rods, drop links, twist links, all wishbone ball joints/bushes, steering rack bush, with tracking also done; Swivel hub bearings replaced both sides (common issue); Both rear calipers; Both rear brake pipes; New genuine Brembo discs and Mintex 1144 pads fitted all round in April this year; Brake fluid refreshed with Motul RBF 600 DOT 4; 4 new Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tyres in April this year; Air con re-gas; Oil/filter change annually. All servicing under my ownership has been carried out by local, highly regarded Renaultsport specialists Rentec. Cosmetically the car is in very good condition. Paintwork looks great especially in the sun and even had a ceramic coating applied by a previous owner. There are a few minor stone chips here and there in line with the age of the car, but nothing major. No kerbing on any of the wheels, all having been refurbed already in the past. No issues with wear and tear inside either, the Recaro seats are still in great condition with no rips/tears. The car has a few carefully chosen modifications to improve overall drivability. These include: Stage 1 remap by RS Tuning taking power to around 255bhp; Short shift gear linkage which massively improves the shift action; Middle silencer has been removed from the standard exhaust system. This improves the sound but remains easy to live with in terms of volume. These modifications combine to make an already great driver’s car, even better.
